Name of Project: Can Do Comorbidity GP Education Project
Project Description:
The aim is that all general practice staff in the Bathurst, Blayney, Oberon and Cowra region will complete a minimum standard of professional development and networking with MH and AOD services. The focus will be on actual practices, to embed the identification and management of MH and AOD problems within the core business of every general practice. A training audit will be done simultaneously, to inform future division education planning. Introducing GP and ATAPS staff to the Can Do training might also lead to their choosing to do further training in MH and AOD comorbidity.
